Big Sandy's Barndance Boogie at PCH Club

Big Sandy's Barndance Boogie is back, and it couldn't have a more exciting lineup!

First, Bibi & Her Tremblin' Souls are bringin' a mixture of blues, soul and a whole lot of heart as they make their PCH Club debut.

Hand-picked by Big Sandy, be sure to arrive on time to catch this band at 8 pm sharp.

Shanda & The Howlers are a rhythm & blues revivalist band out of Las Vegas. The talented group of five musicians performed their first show in the spring of 2015, and are a Big Sandy favorite.

Influences in their sound can be traced to such artists as Big Maybelle, Ruth Brown, Otis Redding, The Crystals, The Marvelettes, Gino Parks, LaVern Baker, and James Brown.

Josh Sorheim is a fantastic all around musician, exceptionally skilled guitarist, lap steel, and piano player - with the added bonus of a superb voice.

Josh plays 1950s Rock n Roll infused Rhythm and Blues, and like the entire lineup at the Barnyard Boogie, the music is definitely danceable!

Big Sandy grew up listening to his parents' collection of jump blues records. Inspired by the rockabilly revival of the early '80s, he began to perform with a variety of neo-rockabilly bands in Southern California. In 1988 he formed Big Sandy & His Fly-Rite Boys.

He is both a music historian and a human jukebox who has the added pleasure of performing with countless guest artists, and has the ability to make those random appearances seem polished and rehearsed.

Big Sandy's Barndance Boogie gives him a chance to present some of his favorite artists in a showcase at a club with full dance floor and dinner menu and free parking with all ages allowed.

Doors open at 7 pm.
