Hillbilly Jazz w/ Deke Dickerson & Eccofonics

NEWS NOTE:
Due to that pesky virus thing, The Carolyn Sills Combo will not be able to make the 160-mile trip down to Santa Ana to join us this Sunday.
In their place, we are pleased to present Amber Foxx & The Hounds! Watch for them to open this great show at 2 pm.
Followed by The Stardust Ramblers at 3:15 pm and Deke Dickerson about 4:30 pm.

Bios:
Deke Dickerson has devoted his long career to keeping America’s roots music alive while interjecting new creativity into genres of music that flourished in decades previous. He moved to Los Angeles at the age of 22 and proceeded to found his primary band, Deke Dickerson and the Ecco-Fonics, as well as several side projects.

The Ecco-Fonics: A Southern California based combo with a mastery of every important sub-genre of retro rock 'n' roll, led by the irrepressible Missouri native Deke Dickerson. Influenced by a wide array of American musical pioneers, Deke Dickerson can tear it up on guitar, simultaneously paying tribute to Les Paul, Dick Dale, Scotty Moore and Link Wray as well as Chet Atkins, Joe Maphis and Jimmy Bryant. Fans of twanging guitar and energetic down home music are well aware that an Ecco-Fonics show is a worthy event to put on the social agenda...

Now that Chris Sugarballs Sprague is moving to the East Coast, this may well be the last Ecco-Fonics show ever, including the bass-playing mastery of Brent Harding (Social Distortion)

Dickerson has provided rootsy music for a slew of television shows and movie projects, including scoring the music for Paramount Pictures film starring Johnny Knoxville, Action Point.

In 2019 Dickerson won the Ameripolitan Music Award for Musician of the Year!

Two of Dickerson’s songs are featured in the newest Disneyland ride, Cars Land, at Disney’s California Adventure theme park.

PLUS

The Stardust Ramblers can also bring a tear to your beer with original heartbreaking ballads that every jukebox listener can relate and attest to.

PLUS
Amber Foxx & The Hounds are a quartet which will feature Amber on vocals, Bobby Cavener on Bass, Tommy Harkenrider on Guitar and Chris Sprague on Drums!

If that wasn't enough talent onstage, we also are proud to present Big Sandy from Big Sandy and his Fly-Rite Boys as our DJ for the entire day. Original Mike's is a family restaurant, not a niteclub, so the odds are good that this show will still go on. We will post if anything changes.
