Tiki Island Expo

Tiki Island Expo

Mahalo!

The Tiki Island Expo combines live music on 2 stages with 80 lifestyle vendors, 3 bars, a full restaurant and plenty of free parking.

Patrons purchasing in advance will pay just $5 to enter this one-of-a-kind event.

It is open from 11-5 pm Sat. Sept. 8 at the vintage venue "Original Mike's" in historic Santa Ana, near the Arts District on 100 S. Main St. at First.

Combining live surf bands, lifestyle displays and crafted cocktails, this is the perfect all-day event for Tiki-philes, Mid-Century Modern fans and Americana aficionados to gather and share the love. Furniture, furnishings and apparel are just a few of the categories on display at this all-encompassing exposition.

The patio stage will feature the slack-key guitar island music of Kimo and the ukelele-strumming Ukulena. In addition, the rear showroom will feature live surf bands all afternoon in a separate stage and bar area.

The Blackball Bandits, the Volcanics and the Tiki Creeps will play from 1-5 pm. Enjoy food and drink while listening or dancing to the bands.

The Americana restaurant is open all day for comfort food, Mexican delicacies and creative salads and wraps.

The location's great vibes, complete with dozens of mature palm trees on a huge outdoor patio, is the perfect venue for the Tiki Island Expo which takes place the same day as our "Escape to Tiki Island" concert at the Yost Theater - just 3 blocks away.

That nearby concert features Charles Phoenix, the Tikiyaki Orchestra and The Hula Girls performing a multi-media show which is nearly sold out. (reservations: http://bit.ly/ESCAPE-to-TIKI-ISLAND)

Patrons of the Expo may wish to have dinner in the fabulous full-menu restaurant - and then simply walk the 3 blocks to the Yost where the doors open about 6 pm and the seated show starts at 8. That pre-show period will also feature craft cocktails by Marie from the Tonga Hut in LA.

In addition, ticket-holders for the evening concert will be admitted at NO CHARGE to the Expo.

Vendors wishing to display at the Tiki Island Expo are encouraged to reserve early as this inaugural show is limited 70 prime booth sites.

Aloha!
